Because I can sit here and prove you guys wrong all day, but I'm not gonna waste my time. Stubborn people will never just admit defeat, they just drag the fight out for as long as they can.

Those are all valid reasons for The Rock being worthy of the title. Now I would have preferred Punk keeping it, but that's only because I think streak vs streak with Taker would have been awesome, not because The Rock is not deserving of holding that title in 2013. He's good for business. You guys can ignore that all you want, but it's the truth. Anyway, I'll just leave you with a few words from some WWE legends

Thanks JR, I'm sick of the Rock bashing whiners too. They need to grow up
Are you serious?? I'm pretty sure none of us are Rock "haters", we just feel the WWE Championship should be represented on a weekly basis. The Youtube video you linked was uploaded in April 2012, NEARLY A YEAR AGO, when as far as I'm aware, The Rock was not the WWE Champion. What exactly is your point? You mention that Raw's ratings have gone up since he became champ. I'd be surprised if they didn't, considering Dwayne Johnson is now a legit A-list movie star. His films are advertised on buses, billboards and on primetime television, and that's in the UK! He is a global entity, that most people under the age of 20 won't even realise was in wrestling before his film career. Clearly his film career takes precedence, but everything John Cena said about him being a part-timer now rings true. I was marking out big time when he returned, and said he would never leave again. I wouldn't say I feel betrayed, but considering he represents the WWE now as the "top guy", he SHOULD be on the road, at every Raw (and possibly Smackdown) and turning up at house shows. That's what the Champion does. That is why we're pissed off at "The Rock as Champ" situation. We all love The Rock, we just want to see more of him.

So yeah. The Rock went on Jay Leno, and totally didn't mention wrestling, WrestleMania, or anything like that.

...because he's the WWE Champion and loves wrestling so much and all.

Don't you get pretty up in arms over a bunch of people pretending to be other people in a series of rapidly displayed images?

Going to a house match was super fun and I can't wait to go to another one.

But you guys...Yeesh!

And grown men playing video games is great. Grown men arguing like kids over wrestling is not.

I don't think either is a bad thing. But I think a lot of people would say otherwise. I've had my fair share of conversations with people defending my interest in video games at my age.

Wrestling is something you invest your interest and time in just like any other hobby. You have to follow ongoing storylines, and there's a history and legacy behind it.

Does any one remeber this guy? Such a brilliant heel and character. I remember back as a kid I hated that guy so frickin much it's unbelievable, and I ain't even American  JBL was only one who came even close to him when it comes to heels who made me hate them with a passion and go really apeshit when they got beaten. It's such a satisfying feeling when some really despicable heel is almost untouchable and always manages to screw the good guys over and escape from harms way, and then they finally get caught and get beaten real hard.

Hassan would have ended up with the World Heavyweight Championship at Summerslam had the WWE not f'd up and showed his stupid hostage angle the night of the London terrorist bombing (the show was pre-taped). That pissed UPN/Viacom off enough to have the character completely written off.

What was interesting about the character was that nothing he said (at least in the beginning) was heelish. He just wanted the same opportunity as others in our country and given his gimmick, was booed out of the building. Was pretty interesting from a sociology standpoint.
