5200 Tempest - $50.00 Atari Age
Bought a month ago, forgot to post here in the Finds. This game has a long history of cancellations, underground beta release and finally seeing the light of day as a complete product.

Over thirty years for the ORIGINAL programmer to finish it after reuniting with the beta code on 8 inch floppies decades later. Atari Age put it all together as a professional new package just like the original boxes from the 80s.This Spinner game works beautiful with the 5200 Trakball. :D

How often can one buy a cancelled Retro game as new decades later?

Yes, but is it really a "find"?

Those are only $10 at best buy? I've been looking to pick one up, but didn't want to pay gamestop $30.

Nothing in this thread is automatically "a find" by any definition anymore. The not-so-new title is basically suggesting the thread is about "Hey, look at this shit I didn't have (or think I had) previously"

Even though we bi+ch and moan, we still go through this thread every day.

Today at the flea market I got:

GC dk bongos for $2.00 and a purple GC base console for $5.00

A $3.00 fill a bag deal got me lots of random stuff, dvds, movies and toys, but gamingwise I got:

One original and one performance brand Dreamcast controletrs. Each with a vmu and a third party rumble pak

Two controler extension cables one for PS2 and another for DC.

Two Sega Saturn games. (Sadly pretty scratched up now that I look at them closely). Sega world wide soccer 97 and NHL all star hockey. The boxes are pretty beat up too, but the manuals look okay.

And ice hockey cart only for nes.

I think the controllers are well worth the $3.00 I paid the bag for.

How'd you get that for $10? Was it a temporary deal?
