My grandfather drove all the way to Houston to see me this morning. We haven't seen each other in a long time.

Couldn't get the kid to sleep last night, so she was grumpy and fell back asleep during his visit.

Finally starting to get some of my game in the mail. Got PSO Dreamcast and a BBA!

Can't seem to get the BBA to work properly. Futzed around with it until a hacked browser started to work, but PSO keeps giving "ISP Information Not Found". I'll have to look into it tomorrow.

The first dude's apology was totally meaningless too.

Yeah. Those two aren't sorry. Sorry that all their 'fun' got spoiled, but not sorry for what they did.

People who lack empathy like that deserve to rot for their crimes. That they ended up with such a meager sentence pisses me off to no end.

Outside The Lines on ESPN ran a story where they interviewed the parents of the players. It was infuriating to watch.

The parents kept proclaiming their son's innocence because "He told us he didn't do it". After shown the footage of the kid saying something close to "She probably wanted it. I mean, that would probably the best thing to ever happen to her" the response was basically "Boys being boys".

After everything is said and done, the parents will still coddle their sons, which is disgusting.

I pray to every deity that a civil suit will follow and the victim hurts them in the pocket.

Frown: That moment when I realized I forgot to take out the trash, and then knowing I'll be getting daily reminders from my wife until next Tuesday of "Don't forget to take out the trash this time".

Smile: Having to take a personality exam. Yes, that's a smile. Now these tests do serve some purpose, but the first thing they tell you is that "Theses tests aren't 100% accurate".

Oh reeeeeeeeeeeeeally? I thought for sure you could pin down my entire personality by asking me 200 questions that themselves are contradictory. So many questions like that including "I see every facet of a problem, so it is difficult for me to state a solid opinion. True, Indifferent, or False? ".

Problem, solution, argument; I always try to take everything into account, but that doesn't make it difficult for me to state my opinion, making the question a waste.

Not sure what this has to do with my job, your job, or anyone's job. You get a better feel for someone by talking to them for an hour, not giving them a quiz that takes an hour.

So here's what made me smile about taking the so-called "personality test". About a half hour in, I erased all my answers, started from scratch, and answered all the questions as if I were my dog. Now that was a fun time.

"I tend to feel my away someone new before I trust them"- True/Woof!

"I live in the moment and look at obstacles differently every time"- Woof!

"I over-analyze situations and am afraid of snap decisions"- False/Boof!

"People pick up after me more than I pick up after myself"- Woof!


I know it was juvenile, but it was pretty fun taking a personality test from the perspective of my dog.

And in case you were wondering, my dog is an extrovert who tends to over achieve and validates her success by the compliments of others (which made me laugh as I thought "She does like to be called a good girl").
