So, the PSP I ordered off of ebay is coming with a couple of games, one of which is the PSP remake of Star Ocean: The Second Story.

Is the remake considered particularly good? I know most people seem to like the first two SO games, so I'm willing to at least give this one a shot despite how much I hated the Ps2 one.

I've really been contemplating getting a PSP myself, with the big price drops on it and the games.

Star far, far, far, far, FAR away from the Ps2 game.

Probably best avoiding the current gen one too.

Anybody used the Cobra USB dongle? I've heard good things, and it looks great, although I'm sure it would take me a while to learn to use. I like it, seeing as I could play the PS2 games and such without having to deal with owning a PS2 also.

Now if we can just figure out how to emulate 360 on PS3... (I've heard it would be theoretically possible, but I don't see how.)

NFL Blitz, oh man. I'm not even much of a football fan but man, this game is just too insanely fun. Best $5 N64 game I've bought in a long time!

1, 2, and Blue Sphere (which is a Japan-only title) are awesome. Avoid the newer stuff.

Absolutely. Great titles/series just for some straight out action without all the crazy realism.

Just finished Moon Diver. Good fuck, that final stage was ridiculous. I should not be able to listen to a podcast 'til its finish during a single attempt. What's worse, if when you die, you have to start the stage over at the beginning. What happened to checkpoints?

An interesting thought just occurred to me. Since Sony and Valve had some cooperation with Portal 2, and Steam has big picture mode, will we be seeing Steam on PS4?

Honestly, this idea is exciting.

I seem to recall some Steam on Ps3 thing when Portal 2 came out, so I'd say it's possible.

Steam has Steambox coming though, so they might want to focus on that instead.
