Nice. "Honky" is my favorite epithet, but I haven't used it much since college (when I used it all the time.

Smile: On my last day of vacation in Nashville, I went to an incredible arcade called Game Galaxy. They had a ton of old cabs, including one I had no idea existed, the Sega Mega Tech (Essentially Sega's version of the PlayChoice-10). I would have spent far more than an hour there, but I had to leave early due to my schedule. Oh, well; I had a great time while it lasted! :)

Frown: I spent 9 hours in the car today driving from Nashville to Kalamazoo, and will spend another 9 hours in the car tomorrow driving back to Houghton. *Sigh* The price I pay to go to school in the middle of nowhere... :(

Smile: Good start to spring break so far. Took a joyride, played some Counter Strike, ordered my new TV, took a midday nap right after lunch, ate a delicious dinner with desert, sharpened an order of knives, and now I'm just kicking back with my vape watching QI.

If only every day could be as nice as today. I'm a happy man.

WTF!?

I've been working on a game design that's a platformer that uses a shovel-like weapon to dig and solve puzzles and such... My game has a different sorta tone to it, but...

...goddammit.

Don't get me wrong, this game looks really awesome, but yeah, just when I thought I had a cool, mostly unique idea on my hands...
Whoa, very cool game! probably will do the $10 one.

*edit*

omg omg, might come out for 3DS, take my money!
I want Shovel Knight but I'm not a PC gamer! Will Shovel Knight be available on other platforms?

Shovel Knight is currently announced for (Windows) PC only, but we are hoping to release on Wii U and 3DS! After that, the sky's the limit and we want to put Shovel Knight on as many platforms as possible, depending on our time and resources. We all own Vitas, PS3's, and Xboxes, and would love to see Shovel Knight on there too! As soon as we have something to announce, you will be the first to know!!

On the moving front:

:) Our recent car troubles were short-lived, as my brother's girlfriend's mother is giving them a car...

:( But they have to go all the way to Virginia to pick it up

:) I recently gave my mom $95, $40 from my bank account and another $55 from a recent trip to the pawn shop

:( But I would have gotten more, but when I went to pawn an old GameCube w/ a Gameboy Player (the boot disc included), they told me that I'd need the power adapter (haven't seen it since before I packed it up when we last moved... almost 4 years ago!) and a controller (I have a few)

 We're still far from our current financial goal, and I've been having a problem with accessing my 401K. I need a password that I don't seem to have, and when I go online to recover it, they ask me security questions. And of the two, one shouldn't have a valid answer. I'm gonna ask my boss about it.

:( It also turns out that I owe more on my CenturyLink bill than I thought. I though I owed only for one month, but it turns out that I owe for TWO! I've paid off one, and I still have to call and schedule a shut-off date for my DSL service.

:( My mom also told me that we may have to leave on Wednesday, as opposed to our original departure date of Tuesday.

But I did plot our course from here (Buxton) to there (Orlando), and the shortest route is only 12 hours away. I'm currently trying to make sure the ride isn't a boring one.

You may not want to announce that you stole a car over the Internet. And stop stealing cars you mischievous derelict.

Smile: ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!! I've got my Irish Folk records and CD's ready to go, a fridge full of Guinness and Miller Lite (for green beer), the house is decorated, and will make my wife and I an Irish Coffee for breakfast.

Later today I'll have friends over for corned beef (cooked properly, no boiling of meat), cabbage and caraway, potatoes, soda bread, and plenty of Irish Whiskey and drinking games to Irish classics.

One game sure to make you see leprechauns and get your shamrocked goes with Wild Rover. You sing along and after every "NO, NAY, NEVER!", you take a shot of Irish whiskey and instead of clapping, you pound your fist on the table four times. Depending on which rendition you listen to, you could swallow up to eight shots in three minutes, maybe more.

Throw the book at these assholes, and I hope these brats get up close and personal with their inmates. Justice wasn't fully served as the guys who taped the rape weren't charged...Hopefully that will change.

How the hell were they not charged as adults? Also are these the kids that anonymous was after, or is this a different group of kids that video taped a rape?

I don't know all the details, other than two dudes raped a girl, bragged about it, denied it, looked smug in the courtroom, and then cried when the verdict was handed down.

They SHOULD have been tried as adults. Hopefully they will suffer much harsher fines, but you have to remember that in America if you can run or throw a ball everyone immediately forgives you no mater what crime you admitted. These dingleberries shouldn't see the light of day for at least three years.

Hopefully the victim will gather the strength one day to write a tell all (not about the rape, but of the trial) make millions, and also sue for millions in civil court.

:x Neighbours on the top floor arguing. One was playing French chansons, the other was complaining. They both start yelling and cursing and hitting the wall with a broomstick and other infantile shit...

:P Finally I'm fed up and I show who's boss. Played Venetian Snares' Meathole on my Cerwin Vega CLSC-215 speakers. 2 x 500W beasts. I had to leave the room for 5 minutes because the vibrations made me feel faint...

 Ten minutes later, I turn off the music. Total friggin' silence for the rest of the afternoon...
