Hit some of my local pawnshops on a whim today and found some awesome deals. Also found a new pawn shop to hit . Plus i got a free loose copy of Halo Reach that was in the Halo Wars case .

Today I hit up one of my local flea markets:

Ended up with a Pelican 5-Way System Selector, NES copies of GOLF NES, Dragon Spirit, and Dr. Mario, a 3 games in 1 card of the genesis, and a spare copy of Final Fantasy Tactics for the PSP amongst other things.

Little side rant to vent off some steam.

Was kind of pissed after leaving the market though a buddy of mine who always cuts good deals for me had a copy of CoD BO, and God of War Collection for the PS3 and he was going to sell them to me for $1 a piece , but I offered him $10 for both as a courtesy for all the good deals he has cut me in the past. However some asshole had stolen the discs from him and left the cases behind. Pisses me off that there are people out there like that I mean seriously the seller is like 75 and not in the best of health.

Best of all...a complete wii w/ 2 wii motion plus wiimotes, 2 nunchucks, charging station 15 bucks. Probably the best Goodwill find Ive ever had lol.

I was originally going to re-start my collection with the Genesis and work my way up, but there's something about the Dreamcast. I ended up snagging some good deals, and now I can't stop. Along with the items above, I got 3 New in box standard DC controllers for $20 all together.

Ended up with a variety of stuff again today. For the NES i picked up copies of Rygar, Super Mario Bros. 3, Operation Wolf, Tiger-Heli, Karnov, and Strider for 2.50 a piece along with a copy of Mario Paint for the SNES at the same price. For the gameboy I nabbed a copy of Conker's pocket tales for $1 but it has an annoying Block Buster Rental Sticker covering the art and someones name in marker right beneath that . Also got a better looking copy of Final Fantasy X-2 to swap out with my old one for $3. However my favorite find of the day was two PS1 light guns for $10 got a green Konami Justifier and a gray Namco Guncon.

Now is a good time to collect for the Dreamcast. It hasn't reached the ridiculous prices that have plagued the Saturn and SNES (especially the latter recently). There's lot of quality stuff out there for reasonable prices.
