I took some medicine earlier, and have been feeling weird. Odd thoughts, shivers, problems with feelings/emotions that would normally pass being blown out of proportion. Well, apparently, the medicine's side effects are known for causing these issues, among others. I need to read the bottle before I pill pop next time.

I've been having friends over for the ACC tournament, but due to work and work schedules not all my friends have been able to attend. So I call my close friend (I'll call him Dandy Pants) to see if he wants to hang out later, and Dandy Pants says "For sure, but I am fudging tired. Long, long week".

I can tell in his voice he's beat.

I just called him and said "Dude. Ruckus crowd here, and I might not be able to get rid of the crew until the Duke game is over which will probably after 10 pm. I'd love to chill (yup I said "chill") since we haven't hanged out in a while, but postponing is an option".

His response was "Duder, (my friends say dude, duder, and dudette a lot) get the f*** out of here. You know you are always welcome at my place. I gave you a key for f***'s sake. Just come over tonight when you can, no need for a honk and holler".

Talk about a great friend. This is "that guy" that you can depend on. He is that friend who wants to hang out, just for the sake of hanging out. And him saying "You are always welcome at my place" made me realize how special the duder is.
