Mario has hit hard times with poor Wii U sales and is back to abusing shrooms, very tragic.Pulsar_t wrote:

^ They should upgrade, I think I've seen that screen like maybe twice since my company went to Windows 7. Although knowing a bit about digital signage, I'm sure whatever program theyr'e running to do it, isn't supported on anything past XP. Still, embarrasing to be sure.

Hand to God I have been in the middle of a movie at a theater and the screen went to a runtime error screen, and this wasn't too long ago.
Now I hate having a movie stop in the middle of action, but you've got laugh when you hear the windows error sound "Da-Toonk!" in dolby surround.
I wish I could remember what movie that was. First they showed the wrong movie, then the lights were never dimmed, the curtains were never fully drawn, and then the error message. I was the audience's liaison to the theater manager that day.
Aww. It's going to drive me nuts until I remember what movie that was.

I hope you all got a refund or free tickets to another showing or something. My local theaters run their movies off a bluray (which the distributor presumably provides them), so I've never had anything like that happen, although in the pre-digital days, the projecter broke down in the middle a couple times.
I'm not a glitch, I just have pixlexia.

Me asking my local theater manager for a refund would be a bad, bad idea.
