I have visited Atlanta on several occassions. I am certain there are restaurants there where you can get cat meat for a fraction of the price.

There's a place here that serves lion. I don't know about the prices though.

Yes, I believe it is. I was directed to it by someone who has bought there before, but I don't have firsthand experience with buying from there. Yeah $150 is too much for 1lb, but I think their other prices may not be too bad.

Not sure about lion, but bear is actually quite tasty. I generally don't like the idea of eating predators, but it is really good meat. Great marbling.

I used to stop by Amei Halal Market every now and then in Portland (Maine, not Oregon). Their specialties were goat and camel.
