Same here. They feel like cheap cash-in titles and the character designs are horrendous.Retronomy wrote: I hate Kingdom Freaking Hearts. Fight me about it.

Someone once said that Kingdom Hearts is the Twilight of video games. I think they might be onto something...Retronomy wrote: I hate Kingdom Freaking Hearts. Fight me about it.

I'm in agreement. The idea was interesting, but the story got bland and boring quick. I've been meaning to go back and torture myself again, and to actually finish the game. I hate saying a game sucks without giving it a fighting chance, but man... iunno.Retronomy wrote: I hate Kingdom Freaking Hearts. Fight me about it.

I bet Retronomy is pretty disappointed that nobody seems to want to fight him about KH.

Kingdom Hearts is all well and good and everything(ok, not really good per say), but Retronomy hates Quest 64?!?!?!
And as for Star Ocean, the only ones I tried that I cared for were the first two. After that, it all just seemed to go downhill so I quit playing them. Easy as that.

I enjoyed Kingdom Hearts 3d, but it was the first kingdom hearts game I ever played, and even then I stopped playing after 10 hours because I got bored of the repetition.
Surprised at all the Golden Sun hate. Yes, the dialogue in these games is bad, drawn out, and repetitive, but the puzzle dungeons are intriguing and the djinn-based combat system is a blast. They're not RPG royalty but they are certainly not bad games.

There's a GBC Star Ocean game that's pretty fun. Of course it's Japanese only, much like the Grandia GBC game. Both are pretty fun, no idea if there are any translation patches.Ack wrote: And as for Star Ocean, the only ones I tried that I cared for were the first two. Speaking of the GBC, Quest: Brian's Journey is actually a somewhat competent port of Quest 64.

Time Stalkers. Ugh I was desperate for a FF type game on Dreamcast when I was 11, what a horrible disappointment. Lets have you spend two hours in a lame randomly generated dungeon and lose all your xp and start at level one when you complete it.
