Pokemon cards

Post by Fragems »

Anyone know a good place to check prices on Pokemon cards and possibly sell them? Stumbled across my old collection when cleaning out my closet and it's something I grew out of about 10 years ago :P.

Was pretty funny actually was moving stuff around and picked up this huge old college trunk I bought at an auction a few years back and it was heavy as hell but I couldn't remember wth I had in it. Opened it up and it was filled to the brim with PC game cases and Pokemon cards :P.

Check completed listings to find out how much they're worth, and you can sell them there too.

If they are really old, aka the rebuild of the game, they probably wont sell for much. I have a bunch of base through Fossil in multiple languages and no one is buying. Some time after I stopped playing they changed the game and made alot of the guys alot stronger so the older characters just cant compete.

Yeah the majority of them are base set and base set 2. I had heard the pokemon trading card market had crashed pretty hard a while back I guess that was why :P. Gotta keep people buying new cards i guess.

Only found a few worth trying to sell so far My base set Holo Charizard, and Holo Shining Raichu from one of the Neo sets.

Good luck. I had a mostly complete set of Base 1 first edition marked cards (all but Charizard and some common), and never did find a seller. Heck I still have some of the ANA special mail in promos.

Found all of about 5 that might sell individually for $5-10. The rest I guess ill just sell in medium to large lots just to get rid of them.

I'm in the same boat, sitting on a collection of 1k+ cards, mostly older. Most of the Craigslist offers I've been getting are lowballers trying to resell. I don't think $150 is too much to ask, especially for what I have. Ah well, I'd rather wait for the full price or a partial trade for some obscure handheld/s than sell them for anything less.
