I am glad to see Ballz 3D is featured prominently in your collection. If it wasn't there, we would probably have to revoke your racketboy membership.
Re: Ack's collection
Thanks for the compliments, guys!
Oh yeah, I've got Ballz 3D, Pit-Fighter, Shaq Fu, Street Combat... All the classics!prfsnl_gmr wrote:I am glad to see Ballz 3D is featured prominently in your collection. If it wasn't there, we would probably have to revoke your racketboy membership.

Don't give him too much flak. That is still a pretty strong showing of terrible games - and I respect that. (It also a strong showing of awesome games, and I am very jealous of some of the games in Ack's collection! Nice work!)

Barbie Super Model had a heart warming story, I really enjoyed it.

Yay, I goaded someone else to post collection pictures too. Looking great so far.

Nice stuff, turrican 2 is fetching some serious dough now. Prices on snes games in general is getting pretty crazy. Wish i got into snes collecting earlier but I'm pretty satisfied with the few games I have.

Lotsa good SNES stuff!
Re: Ack's collection
Thanks guys for the kind words!
ninjainspandex, I've had some of my SNES collection for nearly 20 years, but I didn't really become heavily interested in collecting for it until 2008, when I had fewer than 10 games for it(albeit good games: StarFox, Mega Man X, Final Fantasy III, Donkey Kong Country 2, Samurai Shodown, Killer Instinct, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Star Wars, Super Ninja Boy). I became very interested in collecting a complete set of NTSC-U Super Nintendo fighting games that year and managed to do it in just a few months. Since then, I've slowly been acquiring more in the hopes of one day owning a complete collection. Currently my collection sits at 213 titles for my much loved grey and purple box.
With my income fluctuating, it hasn't always been an easy task. During the worst periods I made it a point to sell other things before going to my video games, so I basically gave up my DVD and music CD collections, and yes I did eventually have to sell a few games to make ends meet, but for other consoles. But I've persevered with my SNES, and it's really the main focus of my collecting these days.
That said, I'm always looking for more games, and I'm happily enjoying those that I have bought. I've found a lot of gems this way, and I look forward to continuing to find more.
