I'm going to try this review blog thing seriously now. I hope to have at least one review or editorial or something every week. I'm trying to make my blog look nice and be well presented in addition to being well written, so I appreciate comments pointing out anything that can be improved. So here is Heavy Retro!
I know it's been a while, but I finally have a new post up. It's Journey...again. I tried to find closure with Journey by writing about aspects that I didn't mention in my first review. Hope it's good.
I'm a week late in posting, but I have plans. I started a series called The Rubi-Ka Journeys, written in a narrative style from the perspective of my main character in the Sci-fi themed MMORPG Anarchy Online. I hope it's funny and I hope it helps people find a game that isn't like most other MMO's. I'll release more parts to this series when I get to it. There's no deadline, it's just for fun.
I'm also planning a retrospective series on Guild Wars 2, another MMORPG. Even though it's only 8-9 months old, it's easy to look back on because of how patches are released almost episodically. And even in that short amount of time the game has already changed plenty. I'll be releasing each part once every month or two.
Also, I'm either going to have a review of Puzzlequest for PS3, which i know isn't retro, but it's what I've been playing a lot lately, or Timesplitter 2 for GC, which should count as retro since it came out in 2002, sometime soon.
I'm back. Haven't been posting as much as I've wanted, but now that school's over I have more time. So, posted a review for TimeSplitters 2! Hope it's good.
