Yeah you could actually dupe items with the NPC Stockpile Thomas...flex wood wrote:I didn't know about any dupe glitch in Demon's Souls. Dark Souls had its dupe glitch patched out. I'm still mad about it though, it made making pvp builds simple and easy.

All right. Time to jot down a few thoughts.
First of all, the game is visually impressive. Demon's Souls didn't look that good and only used the colors gray, brown, yellow, and blue for most of the game. The environments in Dark Souls each feel and look different. I'm not getting the "oh look, another dark cave" feeling in Dark Souls.
I don't know what they did but I've been able to use practically every weapon thus far (effectively, at that!). Going spear/tower shield the whole game in Demon's Souls was a little boring... I'm glad I get to try new things!
I like the open-ness of this game; it masks its linearity a lot better than Demon's Souls.
And it seems to have more branching paths and places to explore.
Also, I've found Dark Souls to be much easier than Demon's Souls. Although I feel that is due to Demon's Souls training me to look for the traps and ambushes placed by the developers.

I hated that too. I would always unleash the wrath of a thousand suns on those annoying things that curse you asap.Opa Opa wrote:Being cursed sucks!

I skipped over the Depths to move on, but I think I might go back and go through it again. I haven't gone through it yet, so I probably should. I'm currently in Blighttown, so I'll have to go human so I can grab some summons for Queelaag.
