Sleeping Dogs
Re: Sleeping Dogs
It looks like the upcoming DLC is going to bring in some Hong Kong horror movie aspects to the game:

Re: Sleeping Dogs
DLC coming out for a game that shouldn't exist. Pretty cool.

Activision cancelled this game but funds crapware like the new crappy James Bond game.

Thanks for introducing more pointless company-based flamebaiting into yet another threadPulsar_t wrote:Activision cancelled this game but funds crapware like the new crappy James Bond game.

Re: Sleeping Dogs
Well, moving the thread back into a more positive direction, I was looking at my previous post about all the fun ways to take people out in Sleeping Dogs. I realized a few that I missed
Picking a guy up and impaling him on some swordfish
Throwing a guy into a phone booth then kicking him right back in as he tries to get out
Grabbing a guy, then shoving a kitchen knife into his stomach
Throwing guys into dumpsters
Throwing a knife at an approaching enemy
Tossing a guy into a container with some electric eels
Bitch slapping a dude with a fish!
Mauling a guy with an electric saw
Repeatedly bashing a guy's head with a car door
Tossing a guy under an open car hood and dropping a car engine on him
On a somewhat related note, I was watching some youtube videos for the "heat" moves in Yakuza 3 and 4 today and now I absolutely MUST play one of those games. They seem to have some similarities to Sleeping Dogs

Re: Sleeping Dogs
I just recently realized after putting hours and hours into this thing that you can attack off of wall runs. I don't think the game ever tells you that. It's not very practical, but I did manage to end a fight with it and watching Wei leap off a wall and kick someone in the face with the cinematic slow mo effect kicking in is pretty damn cool.

North Point Nightmare is out
It's 5 dollars on steam. After his girlfriend is kidnapped, Wei must fight through an invasion of hopping vampires, demons, and the ghosts of his past who are threatening to take over the city. Luckily, Wei has new moves and weapons at his disposal to make it through this nightmare.
