Holeeeeeee hamburgers!

Did a Golden Corral open in Oz? I can see the Lion being pudgy, but the Tin Man and the Scarecrow being chubby old pervs sounds terrible.
Well this one's CG animated, so the actors being pudgy is a non-issue.

Kinda strange that two completely unrelated movies based on Oz are coming out this year though, but I guess that just happens sometimes.

All animation? Pass.

OZ has a buzz, so everyone will try to cash in.

I guess you feel the same way about Oz as my mom feels about Star Wars. She loves the movies, but has no interest in the Clone Wars cartoons. I'll be interested to see Dorothy because it's actually based one of the books (albeit a more recent one), so the story will probably be good even if the animation is subpar and considering how good Clone Wars looks on a similar budget, I imagine it'll be fine.

I thought Clone Wars (at least what I have watched) was pretty brilliant. What the production team pulled off is worth praise, and I don't remember a fanboy backlash.

Dorothy sounds too much like an Aladdin 2 to me (that's 3 twos).

I do admit I have a weird bit of mild interest in Dorothy, but that's honestly only because it's animated. I don't really have any expectations for it at all.

I don't know, I never got into the Wizard of Oz, just in general. I know all the fun symbolism and all, but it just came off creepy when I was little, and I still don't like it.

Watched Black Death again. My mom absolutely hates the movie, but I like it. Its not particularly good, and a certain actor who always dies perfectly fulfills his role, but I like it. Not sure why, I guess I get intrigued by Medieval times, the occult, Religion and all that.
