Just Got A PS3. Game Suggestions?

I just bought a PS3 and I have "Uncharted Drakes Fortune". I love it. Any suggestions of games like it? Or your favs? Except Assassins Creed. Got it and not too into it.

For starters, I got fl0w and LocoRoco on PSN. Fun games when you only need to play 15 minutes at a time.

Be sure to check out Heavenly Sword, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and Metal Gear Solid 4. For good multiplatform games, start out with Soul Calibur 4 and Devil May Cry 4.

I strongly recommend Metal Gear Solid 4. The gameplay is more based on shooting than previous installments (IMO not a good thing), but it's still one heck of a fun game.

Resistance: Fall of Man - get it used for $19
Motorsorm - Used for $17
SoulCalibur 4 - Used $39
MGS4 - Used $49
Unreal Tounament III - New at Target for $19.99 They were blowing them out.
Uncharted - Used $39

I went to my local Gamestop and PlayNTrade and picked up all these games in a 2 week period. I like to get 1 game from each genre. FPS, Racing, Fighting and games I can play on line. I like having options when I have friends over.

My next choice was gonna be Ratchet and Clank. And I want Motostorm. I'll have to try MGS4. I played the very first one and wasnt very good at it. I like a good adventure game with a cool story line and movie sequences in between hence my love for Uncharted. Thanks for the suggestions.

?!? I downloaded both of these - and think they're terrible. No fun whatsoever, barely even games, the six-axis don't work as a control method in these applications. I would recommend against both Flow and LocoRoco. Come to think of it I'm not particularly impressed with any of the PSN games I've downloaded, except Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, which is the first block dropping game I've enjoyed.

Agreed that Ninja Gaiden Sigma is awesome, I've also enjoyed COD4 and GTA4.

If u have the 60 gig backwards compatible machine, you could do worse than catch up on all the awesome PS2 SHMUPS, especially if u live in the states.

If you're interested in strategy RPGs, I'd recommend Disgaea 3. The basic goal of the game is to massively power up your characters (max level of 9999, highest damage in the billions) and in general have a good time.

Motorstorm, Warhawk, Burnout Paradise, Eden, The Last Guy, Resistance: Fall of Man, Metal Gear Solid 4 of course, and once it comes out, LittleBigPlanet

I have had a ps3 for a while.
you should definatly pick up folklore
its an action rpg with a very different style its really fun and the visuals are cool
plus you can pick it up at gamestop used for about $30.
I understand it can seem somewhat repetitive at times but it was overall an awesome game imo.

other than that
heavenly sword is pretty fun
conan is actually fun to.
for 1st/3rd person shooters if you must army of two was really fun, also RB6 vegas 2
