It's also why the first episode has such a different art style. Heavier shadows, no Hadji character, etc.fastbilly1 wrote:60s Johnny Quest:
Little known story about it, if you notice certain scenes in the intro and credits (most of the end credits actually) have a different art style. Thats because Johnny Quest was originally supposed to be a cartoon of the radioshow Jack Armstrong. But they did not secure the rights so they made Johnny Quest.
Favorite TV intros (remember when shows had those?)

60s Scooby Doo:

Little known story about it, it was originally planned to be a straight mystery/horror show called "Who's Scared?", but all three of the networks rejected it as being too scary for saturday morning. HB added humor to the mix and created the show we all know and love. If you get the chance, check out Scooby Doo On Zombie Island. I think that's probably the closest we'll ever come to seeing what the show would have been if they'd been able to do the original version.

Scooby-Doo! and the Witch's Ghost is also very similiar. There's actually quite a lot of these Scooby Doo movies. Besides zombie island and witch's ghost, Aloha, Scooby-Doo! is the only Scooby Doo film I've seen from start to finish and it wasn't like those two.Retrodude wrote:If you get the chance, check out Scooby Doo On Zombie Island. I feel like everyone remembers Night Rider
The Gargoyles intro was epic, loved that show so goddamn much
As one of the few shows today with an actual intro, I think Homeland's is pretty cool.
