That Sir, is what life is all about. It really is.

That tiny peck you give her on the cheek before you leave for work and the kiss you give her when you get home...Makes life worth living. The little things.

Hahaha.

I would share one but given I have no cooking experience and I detest paella myself I'm not sure I could pick one for you. I can ask my mom if you want me to, though.

Sure.

Made my wife a numbered "Reasons I love you" illustrated book, and I add to it each year. I'm a pretty horrible artist but wife adores my sketches. Image shack assures these few pics should not be rotated, but I don't trust 'em.

Needless to say I'm all twitterpated about this, as I've been really hoping for Ranma on Blu ray.

What's cool is that it seems the set is region free, so I could buy it if I wanted. There are two problems though.

First is obviously the language (yes, I want english, I don't care if people think that's wrong). Second is the cost. Amazon is selling it for 33,000 yen, marked down from 45,000. Even at amazon's lower price, you're looking at a thousand bucks for a complete set, which, mind you, does not include the OVA series or the movies. I'm aware that such prices are typical for japanese media, but its still way the hell out of my price range.

So I was happy, and now I'm sad. I guess I'll just have to sit and hope that Viz will take these sets and release them here.

Yeeaaah, that's probably not gonna happen. :(
Geez that's gotta be a gigantic set.
It is pretty big. The series comes out to 161 episodes, spread across 3 volumes at 350 bucks a pop (which is discounted remember).

Its heartbreaking really.

What's funny though is that the anime was canned (production company went under) long before the manga concluded. It only told half of the story.

If they had finished it properly, it'd be twice the size.
BoneSnapDeez wrote:Is every season on DVD in the US at least? I only have season 1, I recall that some of the later seasons got pricey.
Yes, it is. They finished it many years ago, and the manga finished a few years after that.

The sets have held their value though. The original versions still sell for over 100 bucks, and the thinpak re-releases go for around 50.

Granted, I have the whole series. Unfortunately, I bought bootleg FX versions without knowing they were bootlegs (I was not knowledgeable about the anime bootleg world at the time), but still.

Because of that though, I've always intended to buy the official releases and balance it out, but I've been holding out hope for Blu Ray sets.

How old are you again? And you didn't even have to mention what happened yesterday. Just put that you were elated that a chick walked up and complimented you. If you think she is attractive, go for it.

I've heard some odd stuff about her and she cheated on her last boyfriend.
What happened yesterday was why my day was shitty.
Lets say this; Girl I liked a lot (not just looks she wears nice and funny) turned out to be a BITCH. I asked if she wanted to go to the dance as friends, she said nope and posted a screen shot of the Facebook message (on Facebook)
Oh and before they why not ask her in person- only see her for 15 minutes in the morning around my friends.

Agh, I'm venting here, sorry.

Eh, have some fun with her and don't get attached.

As for the other chick, I really want to tell you to make a scene in front of her to humiliate her back. Something like walking up and saying, "I'm sorry I asked you out. I didn't realize you were such a bitch. And I'm afraid I don't date scum." in a very loud voice. From that point on, give her the cold shoulder for the rest of your time in school together, and if she tries to get your attention, reply with "Sorry, I speak English, not bitch."

SM, man, you're doing pretty good in that department, honestly. The only times I've personally known I was being hit on were by older women (5+ years generally), most of the time drunk, who like to tell me about how I'm different than every other guy and general drunk person drivel. (The most recent was at the Turisas concert... she liked my hair. ) But seriously, you should have no complaints.

Smile: This week looks like it will be pretty simple. Just finish out the week, go to Houston, come back, go to Austin, come back, and then return to Houston. Lots of fun travel to start my Spring Break :D And more than likely I'll be getting my license... so damn happy! :D
