I picked up gunman Clive on the eshop last night and am very impressed so far. The graphics look awesome, and the 3d is actually something I might keep on lol. For 1.99 you can't really go wrong, even if it's supposed to only be about an hour on the first play through.

Just got a Midnight Purple 3DS last week from Miss_Mod_Man, best birthday ever.

Now to start buying 3DS games, with Star Fox 64 3D at the very tip top of the list.

I love that color. Wish the XL came with that color option

Yeah, we're waiting on picking up another once it comes out in Purple. Mrs RSG really wants one in that color.

Hopefully they can pull it off with the XL's matte finish. The exterior gloss finish of the standard 3DS lends itself to the nice graduated shade of purple they used which also featured some metallic flake.

I'd have absolutely loved an XL, but the portability factor isn't as great, and again, the case colors aren't as vibrant. If only the inside of the standard 3DS was matte, it would be a perfect portable. I can't stand that whole "glossy, shiny paint means it's fancy!" mentality a lot of people have. It brought us the PSP's awful finish, and the DS-Lite's original case design before they switched to the all matte lower half.

I actually hate the graduated look, the gloss, and the sparkles. I just want a nice plain matte purple 3DS XL.
