Got this all for $100 which I felt like was a good deal since I needed them all. Beefed up the DS collection by quite a bit!

Games are: Megaman ZX Advant, Lunar Knights, Final Fantasy III, Children of Mana, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, Phantom Hourglass, Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time, The World Ends With You, Custom Robo Arena, Fullmetal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy, Metroid Prime Hunters, and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (which by the way, still had the slip cover!)

Went to a new flea market today with Hobie off the tips of another collector in town. This place had a good bit better gaming selection than our usual spot. Afterwards we tried hitting up some pawn shops with no luck and then a couple of Movie Exchanges.

Movie Exchange has some hilarious prices on certain games. Some great ones were Frogger SNES cart for $118, 8 copies of Kotor on oXbox for $85 each(hmm wonder why they aren't selling...), Gradius V PS2 for $96, Road Blasters NES for 77... lol. They had some decent prices, like Wave Race 64 for $2, so we were baffled by their pricing decisions.

On to my finds:
Image

Battalion Wars - $8
I was a bit sloppy on this one. The disc has a crack in the inner part of the plastic that is only really visible if you take the disc out. I also thought it had a manual and it was just the generic GC safety manual BS. I should've passed on this one.

Little King's Story sealed - $8
Was listed for $10, I only had $7 in cash left at this point and Hobie had $1 lol. So I offered him what we had and he took it. Good deal for a sealed Little Kings Story.

Pelican Component Switch - $5
Didnt really need it at the moment, but who knows for the future. Composite and S-video inputs

Super R-Type - $3
Crack on back of case, and some pen mark indentions on the label. But for $3 why not.

TMNT 2 Arcade - $5
Label is coming up a bit at the top edge.

Crimson Gem Saga - $13
This was from an 'established' shop at the market. Most of his stuff was overpriced, but was able to snag another copy of this game for a good deal.

Pink Pearl GBA SP 101 - $30
I didnt have a backlit model. Some scratches on case, but screen is in excellent condition.

I also need to go back as another vendor had a sealed Culdcept Saga for $18, an opened copy for $8, and I was going to get a Die Hard Trilogy PS1 for $4. However, I was out of cash at this point and the ATM machine was broken :( I hope they are still there on our next visit.

Very, very cool. May I ask how much you got it for?
Sure...it was $200. It came with 2 games and 2 Demo Disks. I figured the demo disks make about 1/2 that back according to what I have seen...the games were common. I had to drive an hour in a snow storm to pick it up and it came completely disassembled and took a while to put back together. It was also heavy as hell!
Do you have it set up in an office or at your work or something?
Yes it is setup at my work. I have most of my kiosks in my actual office, this one is in the common area by the kitchen so everyone can play it.

I have a similar pelican system switch and it works great. The labels on mine are playstation, playstation 2, gamecube, xbox, and dreamcast. Don't know why they felt you would need both a ps1 and ps2 hooked up at the same time but whatever.

Those labels are switchable, there were other ones that came in the package. But I have a modded PS1 hooked up for playing Japanese games and then my PS2 currently hooked up as well. Why ya gotta hate?

Have the same looking one, except it says GameStop and has a power adapter plugin for some reason, which i have found no reason for it to need power.

If those coax in/outs there can convert to/from other signal types, you'd need the power adapter for that.

jay_red wrote:When testing the Dual analogue controller last night with various games I got interesting results. First I realized that it does not have the dual d-pad functionality, no big deal. With Rayman, when you turn on the analogue it stops responding all together, with Mega Man x5 it works like normal, with Chrono Cross the left stick allows you to move like normal, while the right stick causes you to spin in place. Strange that 3 different games gave 3 different results.

The store with all of the controllers does not price any of the old controllers like that any differently, and to most people, they would never see the difference in the dual analogue over the dualshock. I searched through the wall pretty carefully and didnt see anything else worth taking, 80% of the controllers were standard non analogue psx pads. As for the barracuda 1, I saw one the other day at another of my spots I go to, but after holding it, could bear to purchase it, a terrible design IMO. I could pick it up if you wanted another though, it was $4.99 also.
Tank er Thank you! I knew I was not nuts! :D

When I first posted the Dual Analog Guide I mentioned that it was "Tank Control" friendly, at which someone pointed out that it would not work. I forgot which games I verified this on so changed the information in the Guide. The idea is to push forward on the Dpad or one stick while changing direction at the same time with the other stick. No more stopping to make a turn. I added your info back into the Guide, very useful!

Thanks for the offer to pick up the PS1 Barracuda 1 for me. There is a electronics wholesale store near the border that has a whole shelf of the Barracuda 1 controller still in original boxes! I have two already, keep getting tempted to get a couple more. You are right, they are huge. Maybe you should snag that cat head just to own one for your collection? It reminds me of to the Dreamcast Controller with its upside down cat ears.

Adding some more JRPGs to the collection, some more modern games again this time.

Radiata Stories (PS2) (complete) $10
Wild Arms 3 (PS2) (complete) $12
Lost Odyssey (360) (complete) $10
Infinite Undiscovery (360) (complete) $8

And my random purchase for the week, Wario Land 4 for GBA for $8.
