I would pick up the PS One classics of Final Fantasy VII, VIII, and IX. Also Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

For PSP itself Id get Persona 3 Portable and both Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness and Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days.

Here are the first games that I got.

Blazblue Continum Shift II

Secret Agent Clank

Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions

Dracula X Chronicles

Really liking the system so far.

A bit of a annoyance is that my system doesn't always recognize my memory stick adapter with an sd card in it.

Other than that everything is working well.

First, get a screen protector, no questions ask!

Second, find a 4GB or more memory stick, in case you want to DL games from PSN.

Third, find cheap games from members like me (yes, a shameless self-promotion for myself! )

Finally, pop in the games and enjoy!

I have a memory stick pro duo adapter with an 8GB sd card in it right now.

Then, are you ready for the next step?

There's plenty of good games on PSP that you won't find on DS.

I was thinking of starting a new topic, but let me ask here instead.. what recent JPN titles are worth getting for the PSP, seeing that mainstream sites have stopped reviewing PSP games altogether..

Kisou Ryouhei Gunhound EX for one is an interesting doujin-style shooter that was released lately.
