That's what kept me away from it for the longest. I eventually only decided to because I was going to be on a family plan with my fiancee, my brother, his wife, and some random dude, so the cost is pretty low.

Trust me; getting a smartphone is worth every penny. If you're worried about the cost, just get a prepaid smartphone on a cheap carrier like MetroPCS/Boost/etc.

I plan on getting the HTC One or whatever successor they have to the HTC EVO LTE or the Samsung Galaxy S4... I'm up for upgrade in April.. Cannot wait to have a quad core + 1080p resolution with a 13 MP camera.. Probably would enjoy selling on ebay again.. Smartphones are awesome for uploading Auctions on Ebay..

Frown: My Mother had a heart attack on Friday, and not the fake dreamcast4ever kind.

Smile: She's alright. She'll have surgery next week and won't have to spend much time in the OR. Not to sound cavalier, but I'm not that worried.

Hey Luke, I hope your mother makes it through ok. Heart attacks aren't pleasant, even relatively minor ones. Tell her good luck for all of us!

Luke, I hope your mother gets better. Anything like that is awfully scary, and I personally get all kinds of wound up over that kind of stuff.
