Thanks for the MasterPlay heads up, already have one though.

Every time I look thru your huge Sales Thread I drool! I missed out on the Atari stuff, forgot you had them listed in the second Reply. Maybe post something at the beginning in your Sales OP in large bold font stating there are more items for sale in your second Reply? I hope there is at least someone else as dumb as me for not scrolling down enough.

@ Gooseberry - If you plan on building up the 5200, there is the finally after waiting decades release of 5200 Tempest at Atari Age. :D

good idea, i'll add that to the header next update. i broke the 70,000 character limit with the initial post, had to expand to the second post. :) i have a bunch of intellivision, 2600, and colecovision stuff to add and then i think i'll FINALLY be done listing everything i have available. i'll shoot you a heads up PM once those things go up. 8)

Finds as of late have been sparse, even on the non-game-related front. But I did manage to find this yesterday at the thrift store:

Batteries sold seperately......Damnit.

A brand new Commodore 64 plug-n-play. I didn't know they made one for the C64, though I guess it shouldn't surprise me that they did. I don't plan on ever getting an actual C64 (partly because I don't know where I'd put it), so I was quite pleased to find something with 30 games built in for $2.50. Especially since buying one at retail seems a bit overpriced.

Oh, and according to this, you can mod these bad boys (not that I think I will). Neat.

Nice. I picked up one of these from a thrift store a few months ago as well. (I may have written about it in this thread...) I don't use it much. Like you, however, I have no intention of ever owning a real Commodore 64, and it is a good substitute/novelty.

Follow up regarding the 172 in 1 GBA cart I recently got.

I had been slowly going thru the 172 games 1 by 1 when Fellow racketeer CRT pointed out game number 121 Tetris 2 and asked if it was Tengen Tetris?
I can confirm it is Tengen Tetris :D
Review- http://videogamecritic.com/nestt.htm?ex ... is_(Tengen)
It is missing the animated start up screen and the Tetris writing from the game play screen :( , however the dancing men still make a laughable entrance between level ups

Although the cart clams to be "NO REPEAT" this isn't really true due to the various Mario Bros variations, Sonic Mario, Dora Bros even a Super Link Mario :)

Couple of recent ebay finds...
Image
Owning various NTSC/J console I could never remember where I had stored my only step down transformer :?
Theoretically this should half the time I spend on the hunt 8)
I still can't understand why the seller had this listed on a Buy It Now for 99p with free postage  :o :( :D 8) and then sent it via Special Delivery at a cost of £7.50p :? :? :?

As ever, best for last...
Image
FACTORY SEALED :D :D BINs for £40 each with £3.50p postage :D :D
Seller kindly included some burns 8)

 Sweet! Okay, who says bootleg carts are worthless! Almost all my bootleg NES carts have Tengen Tetris without the opening Fireworks. These are actually all Famicom 60 pin PCBs that need a Gyromite adapter to work in a NES console. The only Tengen Tetris that includes the opening screen is on my one bootleg NES 72 pin cart. I think this confirms yours is a bootleg off one of the Famicom carts, some of the other titles listed look similar.

To get that game on the portable screen, very nice. I doubt that the two player mode would work even with a link cable, but good for you to discover this unique GBA cart. This also confirms why some of the games run a little slow. They are not Gameboy Color games but NES GAMES WITH A NES EMULATOR ON THE BOOTLEG GBA CART! Maybe some other NES and Famicom games that are not an official gameboy release on the cart worth trying out.

Please post a bragging screenshot of that Tengen Tetris on the GBA screen.
If you ever want to sell it I have first dibs please.
