Saturn help!
Re: Saturn help!
Remember, also, that the mod chip doesn't allow you to play Japanese games (in a US Saturn or vice versa). If you are burning games you'll need to change the region code to match your Saturn.
Re: Saturn help!
I know its not intentional, but it always sounds like a hassle when you read "you can't use the mod chip to play imports, you have to change the region code." The mod chip is, in my opinion, the best way to play imports.
I was using a Game Shark to play imports before I got the mod chip. You can't save to the Game Shark from in game, nor can you from almost every other 3rd part cart, and I wont even get into how the Game Shark damages the card slot. And you can't even boot the game with the cart, then pop a Sega backup cart in to save with. So it forces you to save to the console, then back up to the cart, which turns out to be much more of a hassle then the one time it takes to copy your import game, change the region code, and burn it. And changing the region code has to be the easiest thing ever. You get the program, select which image you want to change the code for, and click one button. Thats it, region code changed! And another benefit of doing this, you preserve your original copy of the game.
Just my two cents.
