I really wish that had been spoiler tagged

It's not Luke's fault. DC Comics did it themselves with a huge press release before the issue even hit stands (which is today).

That's pretty lame. People have forgotten the art of the character death. It has no dramatic impact if you tell everyone beforehand.

They've ruined the story before we've even begun to read it

I'm sorry if I spoiled it for you, but you were bound to hear it before the book hit the press to be honest.

I remember the morning when Captain America "died" as my email inbox was full of "Didja hear?" emails. Comic books have no omerta these days.

It's even harder to stay away from spoilers in wrestling. That's the one downside of the internet. There's like no surprise for anything anymore.

Yeah, it's not your fault. I just realized they have R.I.P. on the cover, so they clearly don't want it to be a secret. I just think that's poor storytelling. Many of the most memorable deaths in television were memorable because I didn't see them coming. Comic Books just don't work that way though unfortunately.

Since DOSM, deaths are promotional tools, not story lines. Sucks full Hoover, but that's the way it has been for as while.

QFT

What's really sad, is that Captain America's death after Civil War looked like it was gonna have a lasting impact. And it really looked like Winter Soldier was gonna take over as the next Cap. The fans embraced him, and the writing was well done with him.

But the inevitable return happened.

You tell me to stop talking (not so politely), and then agree with me 100%.

You are a weird individual.

I think QFT means Quoted For Truth in this case. So what do you think it means?
