ship with skull and cross bones shooting at another ship and raiding their ship.
ship parked in a cave at the "hide out"
That'd be like saying the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies were ripping off "The Goonies" in quite a few of the scenes.
Now if Fable2 had a scene with a ratty old ship covered in jewels stuck on some rocks in a cave with a giant octopus swatting at it and a bunch of kids and a deformed man running around on it screaming and saying those stupid catch phrases form the movie. But if you removed the kids from the scenario, nope, still makes me think of a more historic image of ships from the 15th to 18th centuries.
I think the Goonies was just using the same archetype. Then again, I hate the movie "The Goonies", always have, always will, and the next time some stares at me all confused as to why a boy who grew up at the time of this movie couldn't dare love it. I'll just punch them in the face.
And again, the title made me think this thread was about something completely different! Heh...
I used to love the movie and yeah that picture does have some resemblance to the one in the movie By the way does anyone know if this is a hoax: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-pBtmcByjc It seems so surreal
They have been talking about it for years. I would like them to see it though even if it is a direct to DVD movie, That would be better than nothing......Maybe(If they do it right)
