Holaback's wonderful thread has seemingly destroyed one of my perceptions of the average male geek. I used to think that this breed was more good natured and not bound so tightly by animal urges, but suddenly I find myself so alone in the nonchalant mindset of the universal quest for vagina. I'm really surprised at how many of you would so willingly hop in bed with a relatively unknown person for 5 minutes of fun, and risk so much.

So let's throw all that risk out. Let's pretend that pregnancy, STDs, psycho-bitch after effects, and any other repercussions were not a factor. Would you? Could you?

I'm not trying to sound superior or anything. For some reason I just never had much physical interest in people whom I didn't know very well and care about on a personal level. There's a mental block in me I guess, and I have no idea how it got there, because I certainly wasn't raised that way. I just can't relate to you guys on this one.

Definetly. I have no problem sleeping with a stranger provided I'm comfortable with them and especially if all risk is taken away. Personally I have slept with complete strangers but I play smart if I don't plan on it going anywhere they don't get a number an address nothing and generally I never see them again so no problem. Condoms of course. Regular doctor visits. Generally though I am the sappy/emotional type I've been with a handful of girls is all and of them 1 I was deeply in love with (together for a year and a half) not a good deal though as she was recently divorced and had two kids. I think for her I was more of a friend with benefits. Same thing with the other girl I loved before her (except never got to any benefits) I'm considered to be a sweet guy by most females but now and then I like to spend some one on one time with the opposite sex in the bedroom as opposed to alone with my laptop and my hand
