Haven't seen that in ages.

But really, if a 32X game pulled that during actual play, with moving characters etc., it wouldn't have been a very great experience. And it most definitely wouldn't be something enjoyable now. Even had the 32X stayed around to see that, Saturn and Playstation would have already been out, thus disgracing it.

But still, "Welcome to the Next Level".

Very cool. Proof that Doom could have been ported 100% accurately, and then some.

That's the reason why I believe, every game was put on the shelf as rushed, unfinished code !
In other words, Doom and every 32X game were 60% complete beta builds, outright sold to the public
