Every Top 10 List EVER!

1.) Obvious Choice
This pick has both critical appeal and mass appeal. It’s probably at the top of every other related Top 10 list too. Everyone loves this choice so much it should be pointless to even mention, but I have to put it here so people don’t whine and bitch that it’s not mentioned.

2.) Clearly Biased Choice
My personal favorite pick at the moment. Really, the whole reason I made a Top 10 list was probably just to talk about this choice. Still avoiding #1 spot for sake of my list appearing to have some semblance of objectivity, but ultimately I can’t resist ranking this near the top. It’s my list so screw you.

3.) Art House Pick
Artsy pick that nobody understands, yet has enough obviously positive aesthetic qualities that we can all sit through it with some level of enjoyment while we stroke our chins and pretend we know what’s going on. Probably won awards for this very reason.

4.) Nostalgic Choice
Choice that clearly appeals to nostalgia. Objectively, probably not a #4 pick, but we all enjoyed this pick so much when we were younger that I know nobody cares and we can all just feel happy to think of this title again.

5.) Eat-Your-Vegetables Pick
Critical darling that nobody really likes. It’s basically just here in a vain attempt to prove that I have credibility as a list maker. I’m not even sure whether the critics really like it or if they put it on their lists for the same reason I did.

6.) Cult Pick
Choice with a strong cult following. If I’m really honest with myself though, I never truly understood the appeal. Really, I just feel a need to prove I’m cool with the underground, so this pick ended up here.

7.) Obscure Pick
Really obscure title that really doesn’t belong at number 7, but I wanted to prove I know about something you don’t. I’ve made sure it’s at least of passable quality so if you ever bother to check it out, I have a defensible (though flimsy) argument for this choice.

8.) Mass Appeal Pick
Super popular mainstream choice. I don’t want you to think I’m a snob, so I’ve put this on the list, but I don’t want you to think I’m uncultured, so I put it near the bottom. If this list was based on how I actually feel, rather than what I want you to think that I like, this would easily be in the top 3.

9.) WTF Choice
This title shouldn’t be on any sensible person’s Top 10 list, but I have to keep you guessing. Besides, if I didn’t put this here then my list would look completely identical to every other Top 10 list.

10.) Topical Choice
Relevant this week, forgotten next month. I know it doesn’t have long-term staying power, but it’s popular right now, so it will help my list get a little more attention if I just place this here.
