Halo 2600 in stock at Atari Age right now

Post by fastbilly1 »

$50 with the box, $30 with just a manual. Limited stock, most you can order is two, and it comes in NTSC, PAL50 and PAL60 variants. So go go go.

Mine arrived on Friday. Sadly I dont have an Atari with me right now, looks gorgeous. Its brand spanking new, which as you all know, is a bit of a rarity with 2600 games.

Shipping time for Halo 2600 is about 1-2 weeks. You will receive a shipping notification once your package ships. If you order other games along with Halo 2600, they will all ship together.

We are imposing a limit of two copies of Halo 2600 per person. If you order more than two copies, we will cancel your order and refund your payment. We are doing this to be fair to everyone who wants a copy of the game.
@ fastbilly - That game has to be good with the two copy limit! Thanks for reassurance on the quality of the package. I know Atari Age has a great reputation, I am still waiting for 5200 Tempest to be finalized myself. I'm on the fence about purchasing Halo 2600 due to the limitation on the graphics, although I read it is a great game.

Whenever you get a 2600 console can you post an in depth review of Halo 2600?

The two copy limit is to quell resellers. But that hasnt stopped them from popping up on ebay...

It is unlikely for me to do a review, but you can freely play the game in Flash on Ed Fries site:

I just wanted a cart because I enjoyed the title so much. Its very Berserk meets Adventure.

Makes sense on the limit, smart move. Thanks for the link of the Flash version. I even see a little Space Dungeon inspiration as well. At first I could not figure out how to shoot, don't want to ruin the game and give away how. I will say that I did find a Key and a Shield.

Hey this game is very good!

I also found the Rom at Atari Age, trying it out on an Emulator. I think the Rom does not have any sound, at least thru OSX Stella on my ancient iMac G3. Playing thru the computer is not as good as owning the actual cart and manual anyways, I am sooooo tempted!
