Yes...but if you have a terrible games collection - as I do - then KaGeKi is one of the finds of the trip! (Sage's Creations is just the best. Did they even make one good game?Hobie-wan wrote:Pretty good haul there.
Except for Ka Ge Ki. You overpaid for that.
In fact that negates a few of those good titles you got there with its suckiness.

To be fair Sage's Creation (like LJN) was mostly a publisher, not a developer.
One of their games, Shadow Blasters, is a mediocre but still kinda fun action-platformer.
I love how big and gaudy the Sage's Creation logo is.

Fair enough then.prfsnl_gmr wrote:Yes...but if you have a terrible games collection - as I do - then KaGeKi is one of the funds of the trip! (Sage's Creations is just the best. Did they even make one good game?![]()

As Bone said, they basically just brought some games over.
Crack Down
Devilish
Insector X
Ka•Ge•Ki: Fists of Steel
King Salmon: The Big Catch
Shadow Blasters
Devilish is fun IMHO and Insector X is ok, though it gets shit on a lot. Crack Down is supposedly fun too.

Goodwill finds
NBA Jam in box $2
Paper Boy Genesis CIB $2
While there I saw a Dual analog PS1 controller for $3.99 but I already have one and don't use it. Also, I am not CRT.

Do people still want these? I find PS1 controllers all the time but I don't pick them up because I assumed there was mo market for them. I may have an extra to sell you. I'll have to check my box of odd and ends.aaron wrote:if you go back and they still have it, i'll give you $10 for it plus shipping.GamerMON wrote:Goodwill finds

Yeah, I find a ton of PS1 controllers, but with and without the analog sticks. They seem like a hassle to sell on Ebay for any real profit (maybe $1-2)
Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
i mean, i want the dual analog controller, with the concave thumbsticks, not the regular dualshock. i have enough of those.J_Wil wrote:Do people still want these? Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Very nice finds! PS2 Stretch Panic is so "Katamari" weird, nice catch! Quite a few very good 2600 games, I'm curious which rare 200 titles were passed up. No worries, too far for me to sneak them from you.prfsnl_gmr wrote:Once a year, my wife and I take a long weekend in Asheville, North Carolina. For part of the trip, she attends the Grove Park Inn Arts & Crafts Conference while I go video game hunting.
I had to turn down some pretty rare 2600 carts. If they are there when I return next year, I may have to pick them up, however. In any event, there were no amazing finds this year, but I spent only $112 on 40 video games, which averages out to $2.80 per game.
@ GamerMON - Thanks, my OCD collecting reputation is reinforced.J_Wil wrote:Do people still want these? @ J_Wil - Not a PS1 Duel Shock, but an uncommon PS1 Duel Analog.
