Haha no misunderstanding. As a huge Ys fan I was just curious.cward24 wrote:Just the ones that I played this past summer was Ys Chronicles I & II, Ys: The Oath in Felghana, Ys: The Ark of Napishtim (PS2 version), and Ys Seven (in that order).
Twenty years ago I played Ys III: Wanderers from Ys on the SNES.
I have not played either version of Ys IV Mask of the Sun or Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys. I have not played Ys V: Lost Kefin, Kingdom of Sand (on PS2) or the original Ys V: Ushinawareta Suna no Miyako Kefin (on SNES).
So I meant to say is I have played the Ys games this past summer that was easily and readily attanable to me on the hardware that I posess. However the ones that I did play I did have a good time with them and they were not as long as The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky which I thought was an excellent game.
I hope that clears up any misunderstanding that I caused.

No Problem. I have been waiting for Ys 4 for a long time. When Xseed releases it this fall I may finally get a Vita.

As always, very informative and entertaining review!
Nice to see Snoopy vs the Red Baron reviewed, love this game. I did not know there was a PSP version. Even more amazing is the thought of going multiplayer in multiple PSPs, nice!

I just went and ordered the JP-only Goku Makaimura Kai, or Ultimate Ghosts'n Goblins Revised Edition, that plays more like a standard G'n'g game. Should be good times.

Crush looks very cool. Although I'm not sure if either of these are really hidden games (nor are many of the games mentioned in this thread for that matter), Mega Man Maverick Hunter X and Persona 3 Portable are recommendable PSP games that haven't been mentioned yet nor are super popular. Maverick Hunter X is a remake of Mega Man X with some extras and Persona 3 Portable is the superioir version of Persona 3, so it's worth checking out if you want to play Persona 3 but haven't got the PS2 version yet.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

Persona 3 FES is the best version of Persona 3. The PSP version doesn't contain the FES content, and IMO the battle system is better when you have to rely on the AI.
BTW, Great video MJ. I will play several of these.
