Super Nintendo warped display issue <strange>

Hi,
First point - issue only happens with scart RGB cable.
This issue I am having makes me crazy You see, I have three SNES and only on one is the image perfect all the time. This one has serial number that starts with 165.

On the other two the image is warped and skewed mostly at screens with bright images. It also happens at the exact same spots in some games as photos show from super mario game below. These two SNES have lower serial number, 122 and 154. The 154 unit is almost brand new and only used a few hours in total. So wear and tear is not an issue.

What leads me to believe is that unit one with 165 has never hardware and therefore this problems has been corrected by nintendo???

Please share your expertise on this since I am lost. Photos below show area in super mario where it not happens and 10cm right direction the image is distorted.

It will be a failed component like a capacitor or similar, or one of the chips is faulty. The picture image should not do that. Bear in mind, these consoles are quite old now, about 17 years old, and old electronics can fail over time.

Hi. I myself dont believe it is component failure. I am more towards a design issue with older models. I will get some more 165+ models to check for consistency.

Open up your Scart cable and check if it has capacitors or resistors inside of it. Different revisions of SNES systems could work differently with the same cord potentially if you don't have the right scart cable for your region.
