I'm looking forward to the PS4. More buttons AND Sixaxis precision!

Can't take watching the livestream anymore though. It's incredibly boring.
I'm just going to go about my business and check out what all the announcements were later.
Apparently the goal is to get the cloud gaming stuff up and running and allow you to stream Ps4 games to the Vita. That's pretty cool.

So I've been sitting on my Ps2 copy of Disgaea for a long time now, haven't played through it yet. Loved what I did play of it, but I'm thinking it might be better to pick up a PSP and the respective PSP port and play it on that instead. The game seems like it'd really work well in portable form, and I could play it off and on at work on my breaks. Thoughts? How much would that run me these days?
EDIT: Console is still $60-80 used if you want one that actually works it seems. I might as well spend $100 on a new one if that's the case. At that price, I don't think I'll bother.

Yes, it is much better on the PSP. But be forewarned. This game will make you ocd.
You can beat the games bareboned, but trying to get everything and powering up your items will take up all your time. This game will never end.
I've logged 250 hours on disgaea and I'm still playing disgaea 2. I'm just about hitting 300 hours on that one.
It make me shudder with what I'm gonna do when I play 3 and 4 on consoles.
One thing I recomend if you are gonna play part one, cheat a little and read up on game FAQs. I missed something important regarding Etna and now I can't unlock the second scenario.
I can always download a PSP save file with the unlocked content though.
But 200+ hours is enough for me thank you.

I'm not sure if I'll dig super deep into the postgame content, as that's not something I typically shoot for in games in general. I know the game can seriously suck up your time if you let it though.
I've got that and the sequel sitting on my shelf. Might take me a while...
Holy Wa, Panzer Dragoon Orta's last boss keeps murdering me, and I'm playing on Normal difficulty. I can get to the third stage, then it's next to near impossible. Time to start over on Easy.

I dont see any reason why any gamer would rather use ABC+numpad over ABC+ZYX+Left&Right shoulder buttons. The Jaguar pro controller is very comfortable. The Jaguar controller is often criticized for being awful, so people at Atari decided to revamp it while maintaining the original shape so it would be compatible with all the old overlays. I don't see anything stupid or wrong in that.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
