T&C Surf Design... Am I the only one that can't surf?

Post by brainerdrainer »

I love the street skating section of this game and I have no problem controlling the character. But the surfing part of the game I can not get a hang of for the life of me. The surfing part is driving me mad. Anyone know how to actually do the surf section? I keep falling or going inside the wave and crash

You arn't the only one... the surfing part of the game is infamously broken.

Actually, it's not broken at all. It just takes patience and skill!

The basics are to just "hold up, hold down, hold up, hold down" in a well-timed rhythmic sequence on the d-pad in order to "ride" the waves up and down and reach the goal line. Also, it's possible to hit the top of the wave and perform a cool jump maneuver. Good Luck!

Yeah that game is tough but you can go for a while if you get the hang of it.

Same. One day I sat down and tried to master it, an hour later I just gave up and decided its not for me.

I haven't played that game in years, but I remember that surfing is impossible.

The quality isn't all that great, but you want to see someone succeed in this, here you go.
