what are the best atari games? (besides the ones on the flashback + jr.pacman) I have no clue

River Raid is probably my favorite 2600 game. Followed by the conversion of Missile Command, and Pitfall 2.
Older. Not wiser.

Note I have no idea what's on the Flashback, especially since there are different versions.
Yar's Revenge is simple but fun. Demon Attack is much more playable than Space Invaders IMHO. Asteroids is still fun despite being ugly compared to the arcade game.
If you can hook up paddles, Warlords and Kaboom.
