I'm sure everyone has heard about the event by now; however, we are just a few hours away from the likely unveiling of the Playstation 4.

For PS3 owners, you can watch the live stream in Playstation Home or from your XMB under the "What's New" section.

It will also be streamed online at Playstation Blog among others.

A friend just mentioned that they haven't announced whether the system will even have an optical drive.

Playstation 4? I guess it was to be expected.. Sony tends to stick to brandnames for decades if need be.

And with so little to differentiate these consoles from PC's available to consumers right here and now there's no rational reason to pay attention to the hype. I'm skimming the RSS headlines and nothing warrants the extra click.

Diablo 3 on PS3 and PS4 is boooooo, it sucked on PC why would i want to play it on a console with a controller!!

I'm not even sure this was needed and could've just waited until E3 when they actually had something real to show.

The PS4 controller has a dedicated share button. This is what has become of gaming, we are face booking this shit.

Remote Play- Goal is all PS4 games on Vita.

This is really cool imo.

Also no hardware B/C for Ps3 games, but they'll apparently be rolling out a cloud based solution.

Looks just like the PS Store. Ugly mix of Windows 8 and Netflix. Blech. I already miss XMB, that was a great interface.

I watched the entire event -as good as expected from a two hour show about a new console.
