Yep, it was me. Someone spoiled Adventure for me and told me that wasn't a duck.noiseredux wrote:Ack, you can name names.
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

I would, but we already have one photo of you giving the finger.noiseredux wrote:Ack, you can name names.

If not a real rule, we should make it one.Ack wrote:I don't know about that. Some guys here get antsy when bringing up spoilers in games that are nearly 20 years old.o.pwuaioc wrote:10 year rule. If 10 years has gone by, spoilers can be freely given when talking about a movie/book/game.Retrodude wrote:Whoops. Sorry. I didn't think that was a spoiler 'cause he's talked about it several times. My bad.

i still don't see the merit in spoiling retro games on a retro game forum though.
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
You're confusing the intent. People aren't going around spoiling things to make you cry. It's simply that at a certain point you should be able to discuss things openly without having to worry about possibly spoiling someone. What if you've never read the bible? "Jesus dies at the end" is a huge spoiler for that work.noiseredux wrote:i still don't see the merit in spoiling retro games on a retro game forum though.

2. Blatant drive-bys like "Snape kills Dumbledore!" are just dickish, and when massive story plots are revealed, we have the spoiler tag for a reason, but I just can't get behind trying to censor everything so that we can't even talk intelligently about a topic without hiding it away? I mean, should Michi spoil his entire review of every movie he watches? Does it really change anything if we know that the kids survive in Kill Bill (I haven't seen the movie) or that [edited out spoilers - noiseredux]?
^That would be a rather incorrect spoiler. It's toward the end, but there's some weird stuff that happens afterward.MrPopo wrote:You're confusing the intent. Fixed that for you.o.pwuaioc wrote:^That would be a rather incorrect spoiler. It's toward the end, but there's some bad ass, awesome end-of-the-world type stuff that happens afterward.

i don't want to rehash, but the spoiler that pissed me off pretty much was a driveby.
