Hobie-wan wrote:$8.55 to send a DVD.

A fucking DVD.

4.1 ounces in a bubble pack.

To Canada.

That only netted $2 for charity.

I know postage just went up and not blaming the bidder. But that's some kinda fucking bullshit. :x :x :x

So much for international trades anymore.
I wound up paying a -lot- to ship items out in general, most of which I attributed to not really doing BST stuff and thus not really knowing the most cost effective way to do all of it.

The shipping costs to Canada, for fixed rate boxes, were unholy. I spent $60 to send two packages. So, don't feel too bad

Smile: Playing Crash Nitro Kart with my niece this morning.

Frown: Leaving another forum in disgust after they bullied someone so hard they drove him away despite the efforts of a few of us to stand up for him.

I'm in the same boat. Out well over a c-note for the items I shipped out. But it is for a good cause, so I'll chalk this up as a lesson learned.

Frown: A friend got dumped by his fiancee for someone she met on the Internet.

Smile: He certainly dodged a bullet.

"know" rhymes with "Alamo"

That should be all the help you need...

Smile: Two snow days in a row at my college! This has only happened twice before in the entire history of Michigan Tech! Whoo-hoo! :D

Frown: My car has become completely buried under a snow drift within the first 12 hours of the storm yesterday. When I say that, I mean completely buried.

Holy shit. I went to college in central Illinois so I know how much snow is needed for even one snow day in those areas.
