Well, the team that worked on FFT for SquareSoft did do Orge Tactics first on the Super Famicom for a different company. I wouldn't call FFT a ripoff of Orge Tactics (thou one dude at my college did chew me out for not knowing where FFT got its start). But I would like to see SquareEnix come out with a "mature" SRPG that follows Orge Tactics or FFT (without the "A").

I disagree CRUSH is excellent and as someone who didn't play it until recently, I would say it holds up just fine in 2013.

I second all those that mentioned Castlevania Dracula X, Maverick Hunter X, and Jeanne D'Arc as excellent PSP titles.

Daxter is not a bad little 3D platformer if you like that style of game.

Let's not forget Mega man powered up, I really like the level design and sprite style.

Gunpey
Gurumin a monstrous adventure
Both disgaeas
Prinny can I really be the hero (both)
Hammerin hero
WTF work time fun

It's a great system, I had a 3k psp and sold it because I was dumb and hadn't done my homework on hidden gems within the catalog. I also only bought Shooters (like ghost recon and others) which the genre didn’t lend itself well to the psp control scheme. Long story short (South park quote) I've bought some really awesome titles I want to dive in to as soon as i get my PSP.

Also: I’d also add R-type command

I had a lot of fun with Ace Combat X. Best arcade dogfighting series around and it works great on the PSP. Lots of dithering on this title though.
