I thought that this would be a fun poll since everyone here has love for a sega system. I just want to find out what sega system has more of a fan base on racketboy. Is it the powerful dreamcast? Or what about the rpg and 2d glory of the sega saturn? Maybe the 16 bit heaven of the sega genesis? Maybe the little master system no one cared about in the states during the 80's but killed the market in other parts of the world and now everyone loves that little 8 bit powerhouse.
Whatever system you vote add if you want why you love that sega machine most of all. I do want to say that if you can choose the genesis if you love the sega cd or 32x. they are add on's but some off the games on the sega cd/32x are reason's why they love the genesis.
I wont add the pico or game gear, since i think pico was more of a toy and game gear was a handheld. The nomad was a handheld but it was really a portable genesis so i wont add that either. I also don't know about the sega mark 1,2 or 3 so I wont add those either just the main systems from the states.
If racketboy can give us a little feedback I would love to know what his favorite sega system was since he loves the sega brand. Thanks for voting and lets have fun with this
Favorite sega system poll
Re: Favorite sega system poll
I don't want to be rude but that post was in 2006. That was 7 years ago. Alot more people are here on racketboy and i'm sure people left and other people have changed thier mind on what sega system they love.

It is, without a doubt, the Sega Genesis for me. Such a HUGE library of fantastic games both mainstream and hidden gems.

Re: Favorite sega system poll
Sega Genesis wins by a mile. Tons of fantastic, cheap games. Some great RPGs too, especially when you toss the Sega CD into the mix.
Dreamcast comes in second. That controller + Skies of Arcadia = win!
Saturn and SMS bring up the rear. SMS has lots of dud games and everything on Saturn is prohibitively expensive.

O.k my apologies on that but there was no poll on the second one. It's still something that everyone can enjoy on this and its a good thing to see sega love.o.pwuaioc wrote:The second one was from less than a year ago...

Dreamcast for me. Big fan of fighting games and DC delivered that. Also, Sega was at its most creative, with a lot of unique games being released for the DC.

Re: Favorite sega system poll
If this was a poll about which Sega system was the best overall, I would have selected the Genesis hands down. Since its about favorites though, my vote goes to the Saturn. It just gets way more playing time than any other Sega sytem I own and I find every little thing about it just plain awesome.

I voted for the Genesis but the SMS comes in a very close second for me. I've been on a gigantic SMS/Mark III kick lately, but I think the Genesis/MD has a stronger library overall.
