It's hard to see, your camera is really crappy. Reminds me of my last camera actually.

Take stuff outside and take pictures in the sunlight. Having plenty of illumination will help. Though you need to use a macro setting if you have one. Otherwise the pictures are going to look like crap no matter what you do if you're closer than 3 feet to things.
