Hi there...
I am sure someone else must have encountered this too.
I have a couple of Gameboys... from the original to the GBA SP.
The funny thing is that once a while, their screens will go all wrinkly.
Found a picture online: http://i1134.photobucket.com/albums/m61 ... 020566.jpg
I notice that a few times, when I find them wrinkled up, there is also a vinegar smell. This has also happened on one of my old laptops too. I took it out of storage (in its carrying bag) and found the screen was all wrinkled up and there was a strong vinegar smell.
Question, what is going on here. Is there some way to reverse/heal the screen?
Thanks.

Never seen that before. My guess would be either temperature damage or possibly some chemical stored with the items that's reacted with the screen. If these are enclosed storage, and especially if they get warm, could be be trapped vapors harming things.

I guess then there is not much to do except to store them properly and pray.
