Simply put, because I only have the GameCube. I'd go with another version if I had it; the d-pad is not only crappy on Dragon Spirit, I found out. It took me a while to unlock Pac-Mania and Galaga 88 because of the crazy control. Guess I'll have to do with the analog stick.

My copy of Namco Museum 50th Anniversary for PS2 that I got last week wouldn't read. So I took it back and in return I was able to get Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex and Midway Arcade Treasures (vol. 1). (There really wasn't a lot to choose from that I didn't already have.)

This past weekends game-related purchases:

Image

Gamestop:
Solatorobo (new)
Metroid: Other M
The Kore Gang
The Testament of Sherlock Holmes (new)

Sears clearanced items:
Wii Sports Resort
9ft USB cable

That USB cable was only $0.97. So if any of you are looking for a longer cable I suggest you check Sears. And Wii Sports Resort was only $5 (I wouldn't have gotten it otherwise). Gotta give that store credit. When they clearance stuff, they clearance it.

I love Sherlock Holmes too, though I've never played a game with him in it. I was looking for a new adventure game to play (since Uncharted ended up being more of a shooter) and came across it in my search. I hadn't heard of it before then, which is surprising, since from what I can tell, it just came out a couple months ago.

I can't tell you much about it yet though, as I had to work this weekend (Bah!), so I haven't had time to do anything with any of the games other than to make sure they all work. Well, except for Wii Sports Resort. That one's still wrapped so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt

Devilish (DS) - a decent variation on the brick-breaking genre.
Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes (DS) - haven't played it yet but it looks fun.
Magical Starsign (DS) - few hours into it and it's not bad.

Got a recapped turbo duo with arcade card and converter for 350$. Included gates of thunder 4 in one pack, y's book one and two, and blazing lasers! I used to have a duo but the laser bit the dust in the late 90's and i actually threw it away  . I have had a turbo grafx for years but no duo until now! Finally get to play through ys 1&2 again.
