Hello guys Choo here, I've recently been wanting to play some of my old N64 games from my youth but I no longer own a N64 or any of my games. I'd like to use an emulator for PC that is legit, well used, and tested. A rom site that is secure would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance and I look forward to the replies.

I made a guide once on N64 emulation that you might find handy: viewtopic.php?f=52&t=38013
I can't help you with ROMs though. I extract them from the cartridges myself.

Re: N64 Emulation?
find a list of games that you're interested write them down put them on Google.
Google will do the work for you.
you'll notice that the first ROM sites that pop up on Google. those are the best ones to use. you'll get the hang of it, it's pretty easy.
don't worry about the legal ramifications, many have done it. and so will you.
but let's just keep it at that. We don't want this thread to become a piracy sucks/ROM bashing thread.
but the only hard thing about N64 roms and emulation is finding the appropriate controller.
it will be hard but you'll find something.

I would suggest picking up a real first party N64 controller, and then getting a USB adapter for it. There's plenty of USB adapters available.

Re: N64 Emulation?
I can't really help all that much (none of the emulators I've tried will pick up my GameCube USB adapter), but if you're running Windows try 1964 UltraFast. It appears to be a real nice emulator that truly enhances the N64 games. If you're on Macintosh or Linux, give Mupen64Plus a try. It's an alright emulator (though I haven't used it in a while) which the Android N64 Emulator (n64oid) and the Open Pandora Emulator are based on.
