Hands down my favorite racer on the N64.
Better than Diddy Kong Racing? or Mario Kart?
It's not that kind of racer. It's more of an arcade-style one.

It's also excellent.

The graphics were questionable, especially dark area's of the maps, and using only 1 joy stick is so strange. When I was playing it growing up, I thought it was the best game ever, but going back on it now I'm like "how did I ever get used to this?"
One of the reasons I picked up a 64 a couple years back was because of Goldeneye. Wow, that game did it not age well at all lol. I would actually get headaches trying to play it.

Yeah I have diddy kong racing, I love that one, some what childish but still a lot of fun. Mario kart is always a winner in my books. I believe when I was 12 or so I played that beetle racing game, it's pretty cool but mario karts better for sure. Well that's only my opinion =)
