Does race still matter to people when choosing a potential mate? I thought most civilised people had moved on from racism these days.

Most of my friends are even turned on by the exoticness of a partner of a different race. I don't see how it matters at all.

Wise words. Seriously I think it may be a generational thing. I don't factor in race at all, I just tend to be attracted to good looking girls with a sense of humor. That's way more appealing than anything else to me. I've dated hispanic girls, white girls, and asian girls, but now I'm getting married to a Native American.

Some of my asian friends say they don't like asian girls becasue there parents are always pushing them to date a "nice japanese/korean/chinese girl" for once. They get tired of hearing it and go and date other girls because they don't want to be told what to do. It's funny because i know ton's of white guys who love asian girls, even girls who aren't so good looking.

So if asian guys don't like asian girls, and white guys like asian girls, who do asian girls like?

I'm white and I could say that all white girls are ugly....but that's just a blanket statement. Now if you said you don't like asian girls thats true. But your statement is completely subjective and false.

You know, as a white guy, I've seen attractive...oh...black, white, asian, hispanic/latino, native american, middle eastern, indian...I can't think of a "race" where I haven't seen at least one beautiful woman, and frankly I'm glad about that. So many gorgeous women from so many countries, the way they look, their shape, the way they move...I don't understand how anybody could not see at least one girl they admire in any race.

The biggest issue I've seen with some of my asian friends is really the language barrier. A buddy of mine named Ryouhei is an exchange student from Japan. He barely understands English, let alone slang, and has no idea how to talk to American women. It doesn't help that he wants to date women that look like super models...maybe it has to do with worldview, too? I've seen perfectly fine women hit on him and him either not understand or not be interested.

Of course, I also have the policy that as long as she's 20 or older, her age doesn't matter if I think she's attractive enough. Yes, I've hit on 40-year-old women before...

Either way, the point is...chicks are hot. No matter where they come from.
