This annoys me a lot. They act like the second amendment is about to be repealed or something. Nobody is coming after your guns people, calm down. :/
IIRC, there was a bill being kicked around that would make AR's illegal to sell to the public, but those who were already owners could keep theirs. That's probably part of why people are snapping them up as fast as they can.

@DinnerX, while I agree with the idea that we shouldn't necessarily demonize gun owners, I definitely don't think it's a good idea to glamorize it either. Last thing we need is more kids and teens getting their hands on guns because they think its "cool." There's a bit too much of both maybe.

I'd understand it if they were just buying up ARs, but they're snatching up anything and everything it seems. At work, we're having trouble holding on to ammo of any kind.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks o.pwuaioc is a pompous asshole. He can't handle the notion that people can disagree with him legitimately.
I don't have any issue with him most of the time. Just sometimes in discussion or disagreements he resorts to sarcasm and scorn instead of contributing or countering points.

Well shit, that was supposed to be a PM, not a post. I certainly didn't want to draw o.pwuaioc back into things since he'd already agreed to exit the thread. I'll take my leave as well.

Topic is now locked.

Civil discussions on this matter are acceptable, but this devolved to back and forth/he said she said, and while the parties involved did agree to disagree, we are better than getting into those back and forth types of arguments.
