Re: Video Pinball
Man, 1,589,750 on Black Knight. Had Eronnicus in my sights after ball 2 and then choked that away.
Re: Video Pinball
I recently picked up a copy of Pinball Dreams for SNES. I haven't played much in the way of pinball-themed video games, but this one features four virtual tables and a set of high scores. I figure I'll be shooting for the top slot on all four tables, though are there any tips I should keep in mind? I believe Ds picked this one up a couple of days ago.

Pinball Dreams is great. Best table is Nightmare, you'll probably score the best there. That, and it bears a shocking resemblance to Terminator 2 pinball...Ack wrote:I recently picked up a copy of Pinball Dreams for SNES. Nightmare, eh? What is the order of quality on the tables? I admit, I've spent the least time with Nightmare so far, but I've only given the game a couple of cursory attempts so far.
Re: Video Pinball
I like Nightmare and Steel Wheel the best, because they're a bit easier to keep the ball alive on, not so many ramps and targets that drain easily, and they also score better (millions as opposed to 100Ks of points like the other 2). The goals and modes are also a bit easier on them. They're all great, music is amazing, and it's fun. It's also on the PC along with Pinball Dreams 2. DICE developed them (Battlefield series) so the quality is there.Ack wrote:Nightmare, eh? What is the order of quality on the tables? Yeah, I spent some time in Steel Wheel and managed to take the third best score slot. I think I will start by focusing on it and then move to the other boards from there.

Not on the 360 - that's for sure. The last pack they released before their XBL publisher woes was pack #3 with Gorgar and Monster Bash.retrosportsgamer wrote:So far only Dsh and I have Twilight Zone. Anyone joining the party this weekend?
I've played TZ just a few times in person. I'm really looking forward to eventually playing this on the Pinball Arcade so I can learn the rules. It was fun and I like widebody tables.

Man that really sucks for the 360. LOT of catching up to do there. At this point if anyone has a PS3, it's worth the $$ to jump over and just get the newer tables.

Re: Video Pinball
Got 722,000,000 on my first ball in Twilight Zone and then proceed ot crap out with just 30,000,000 over the next two. I am the worst with that. Really enjoying this table though.
